Time To Die The final page is written So ends my book of life Nothing special in it's content I lived a modest life My time here now is over The end I've feared is nigh My book of life lies closed now I know it's time to die No time for tears No time for goodbyes Letting go of this existance It's time for me to die The beliefs held to be true Denied the truth with lies Don't want to believe it all ends here No-one wants to die No new beginning No promised afterlife Just eternal nothingness There is no "Other Side" No time for tears No time for goodbyes Not everything will end though Death will never die [This message has been edited by FJiznit (edited 07-07-2000).] |

This is a really good poem  Yes, depressing, I agree, but also expressing what is, I suppose, a truth. Great work! |
