This was written by a friend of mine. Standing by your Graveside in winter My tears they fall And melt the snow The sun it fades On the horizon Your grave now lit By the glowing winter moon Alone I stand in darkness On this cold December night I wish you were Still with me Instead of asleep In your coffin bed My tears they still fall Sparkle in the winter moonlight Time has frozen still Forever winter |

FJ, a very sad poem. I know it is hard when we loss someone we care for though their spirit remains with us. a beautiful and touching tribute to your friend. A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry |

While the body may lie cold in the ground, it is remembrance that warms the spirit. Tell your friend to visit us here in Dark Passions, where warmth is eternal. Thanks for sharing, FJ.......Hardrock |
