In this blackhole of my soul All things are consumed Doomed To live in this padded room Never Again to see the moon Or stars Bared inside this Gated Jar Called The Soul I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

wow, Jeremiah, you have outdone yourself here again. What wonderful, oppressive imagery! I do love your poems! Lotharingia "For God's sake, he's a poet. Poets are meant to feel miserable. Otherwise, what the hell are they here for? What are they going to write about?" Tom Holland |

This one leaves me thinking. Are our souls left to be in the dark, without light or passion? If without light, we cannot see. If without passion, could this be? Are things of love, things of happiness Doomed? Your poem has left me confused. Your poem has left me consumed. In my own innocence My soul has a more simple way. To love and to hold Yearning to live, yet another day Love keeps the world smiling. LarBear [This message has been edited by LarBear (edited 06-29-2000).] |

Jeremiah, Nice dark writing. Short and to the point. I like it!! LW Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility. --William Wordsworth |

Definitly interesting as always....! I like the way you write Jenn "I'm a big, big, girl, in a big, big world, it's not a big, big thing if you leave me, but I do feel, that I will miss you much..." Emilia |
