Slowly opening my eyes Wiping the sweat from my head Looking into the darkness While laying alone in bed Remembering the nightmare That woke me from my sleep Shivering from the thoughts As I begin to weep Knowing it isnt real Realizing I am still here Death didnt take me As I wipe away my tear I survived yet another Cold and fearful night Knowing that in the morning I shall once again see light Once there was a darkness Deep and endless night You gave me everything you had Ahhhhhh you gave me light |

Nightmares can seem so real! And when you wake up sometimes at that moment your not sure if your still dreaming! Excellent poem! |
