To have no heart,
Nothing to be grateful for,
Nothing to cherish,
No dreams worth striving for.

No valued friends
To travel through this life with,
Only darkness inside,
No will to live or give.

No light at the end of the tunnel,
And because of all that,
You cannot respect the same in me,
I won't let you drag me down that's a fact.

Don't kill the good,
And fill the space with bad,
Find a few treasured memories,
And then you may not feel so sad.

Friends, family and love,
The secrets of spiritualism hidden inside,
These are the things of value,
Not winning, nor pride.

I pray you find your heart,
Fill it with love, worth and understanding,
Instead of plotting my demise,
Instead of useless planning.

For I shall not weaken again,
Will not let anyone kill my beliefs or self confidence,
I will shine with all I've become,
Never again will I give in to cowardice...

This is a great poem, but if it's a personal heart-emotion, you aren;t really convinced are you?  You say the words but the reader (in this case me, )  thinks they are not believed fully.

you write good....now make us believe you mean all of this or that whoever is saying it does..make the reader believe....

Isis,
without a heart you are nothing, then it's a good thing you are all heart...for it makes you anything, you want to be!Dear one I soo love this piece.

Thanks my friends
Lana welcome to passions    I do believe, perhaps that wasn't portrayed strongly enough.  Once it was all nearly stolen from me, it will NEVER be even close again.  This was a kind of affirmation as it were...

Stay strong, Isis.  Like the poem says, never weaken, never give in....
Thank you for the encouragement.  Excellent work.
