What will I become In the days yet seen Will i live up to these expectations Achieve all the dreams I know i should put the past in the past But its always closer than it seems My heart wont allow my mind the peace that it needs I know its hard to understand But the pain feels like so much more to me And when i try to block it out like they do It grows all the more extreme So here i lay caught up in An insomniacs dream I lie with my eyes open once again Remenecing over a harsh past quietly I smile back upon the few good things And strain to take it light heartedly But my causual exploit will Become the death of me I always seek to find the things That wreak havoc within me But i am always to critical And i fall even further from being free Everyone smiles and gives me more Of what they think i need But the obvious contrast of two minds Only gives me more insecurity "The biggest ocean can not stop a man from drowning" - Paul Watley |

This poem is, i dunno it's hard to explain, i guess you could say "it moved me", i identify with your words "I'll build a wall if we can keep them on the other side"---NIN "There is no always forever, just this"-the cure |

You're so beautiful, intense, and profound Paul...how could expect a simple life? You'll find your way. Just hold on. As for the poem itself...it was great. They always are. I just wish you'd believe that. Angel In order to be good one must know evil. ~*Angel of Darkness*~ |
