Just for one moment tell me the truth,
Show me your heart on Christmas Day,
Show me with actions cos I fear you will never say,
The feelings you've so carefully hidden away.

Just for one moment on Christmas Day,
I long to be in your arms,
Comforting you as you comfort me,
Indulging in your fateful charms.

Just for one precious second,
Touch me as though there is no wrong,
Show me the truth from which you hide,
Light my world with song.

Just for an instant reveal to me,
Yours secrets and longings in their entirity,
We can dream again,
Not stuck in a world we don't want to be.

Just for a minute talk to me,
Of all that you try so valiantly to hide,
Share with me what's in your heart,
In me I wish you'd confide.

Just for one glimpse,
Speak our oceans of love,
Sometimes it hurts when you pretend,
Then both our Christmas's can be filled with love.
