MEANINGLESS!! Crying myself to sleep, sometimes not even knowing why. I am so weak, but act much stronger. I can't hide in this mask forever, don't even know how much longer. A fake smile & laughs, should really be sobs & a frown. What happens when I can't hide anymore, & my wall crumbles down? Can I live a normal life, & be who I really am? Can I open up completely, to the one person I truly love? Living a life of confusion. Not knowing where it leads. How can I give my life meaning, if I don't know what it already means? Will it ever get better, or will it just get worse? I feel like I'm the only one that hurts, the only one who has this curse. I know my life is real, but meaningless, is how I feel! ~Life is a choice, Death is an easy escape!~ LOVE ELMO <3  |

Oh how sad I know how you feel its a battle I fight everyday somedays I lose and some I win and others I just break even I sometimes wonder if Im the only one that thinks or feels the way I do or as you do in this piece. but we are not alone. And we all hurt I hope things get better and i really liked your poem |

*Nods* Yep I can understand this one. Hell I am about to turn 30 (  ) and I still dont know what life is all about. And yes, I still hide behind my wall also. This poem made me think alot. I can agree with you here.. and it's a sad plight. But.. I have read some of your other work and know that there are some very special people in your life to whom you have a whole lot of meaning . Merry Christmas Sheila |

Hm ... U know , i think about this question almost every night ... Where is all these leading to ... what and why ...? I dun think the answers will be forthcoming anytime soon but i do suppose we will know one day... By the way, nice to know i am not the only one ~regina. |

I loved this write, it reflects one i wrote awhile back. I believe i understand all about the wall that you hide behind, aand whether or on to tell the one you love. I wish i could direct you in the right direction with both but alas i remain lost as well. Thanx everyone for the great replys--i'm glad you all liked it--i know i have many great people in my life & would never want to lose them, but still at times i feel soo alone-- I guess we all have to find our own meaning though & no one can help us but us--it sux but it's the only way--Merry X-mas to u too & a very Happy New Year --thanx again--LOVE ELMO <3 |

elmo, two things I know to be true 1) it does get better if you remove the wall a brick at a time. 2) writing helps connect and ground us. *HuGS* write on Kethry Religion is for people frightened about going to hell - Spirituality is for people who have been there. Anon. |
