Fantasy (not you) Oh yes it's true more than anything in this world I wanted you. I thought you were a blessing of Love sent from above. These thoughts led me to pursue you deligently and soon I was offering my love openly and finally giving away my love shamelessly. Today that love is far away from my heart. And after all was said and done in realization that only one heart was true and the heart belonged to me not you I have stepped right into reality and I have accepted the truth that you will never give me the Love I need. My hopes for me and you will only be what they can be and that would be a fantasy. Jameslee@October22,2000 |

WOW! I am not sure how I missed this the first time butttttttt GOOD work. I too have been here and after the pain has left, it is a great feeling to have your heart back with you. Great poem! Unfortunate sitation but i surely hope you get better. I've been through this and it's no party.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

It's unfortunate how these situations happen. My heart goes out to you, for I have been here too. Hang in there. Great poem. There is nothing wrong with looking back on a love lost. Things are meant to be for a reason. Though it may take a very long time before we fully understand what they were.
