The pain never meant to bear Grasping deeply without hope Left only this stain to share Never meant to be this way.. Having lost what was never had Dreams, Hopes, a promised prayer Yet described as an unending sad Reflected in the mirror, far from here Is pain only a figment of our imagination? Is it really even there? To some, an anti-adoration? The power to bring suffering....unable to bear. -"Split a piece of wood and you will find me, Lift a stone and I'll be there." -Stigmata(Jesus) |

ChainedAngel...We're glad you are back. We all have to do some soul-searching periodically. Judging from this piece here, it must have been productive. This is very well written, excellent work. Enjoyed it. Hardrock |

Interesting analysis of pain. SOunds reminiscent of the ideas of some of the philosophers in the renaissance period. We are only aware that we exist through our sensory perceptions. |

Well done. "Is pain only a figment of our imagination?" That's and interesting thought With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |

Thanks for the replies, During my time of reflection, I experienced many different feelings. One of the hardest to cope with was pain and suffering of a lost child. It's hard to explain the feeling in words. I just felt... numb. |
