Haunted In the thick of the night I can see his eyes watching Scanning over me ruthlessly I can feel his hands touching Everywhere they aren’t suppose to I can feel his breath warm and damp Quickly exhaling against my cheek I wake in the dark alone Shaking, crying, shivering with the memory That doesn’t seem to ever leave The deepest corner of my mind and thoughts I wonder how long I will let you win How long you will haunt my life And my relationships that are doomed to fail I wonder if I will ever be able to overcome The person you are and the person you made me be I hope for the day I will be able to wake up And not see your face from my dreams Not hear your whisper feeding me lies Not feel the chains of your evil ways Tying and holding me down while I fight Fight to be free and fly away from it all. I curl back against the lonesome bed Knowing better than to expect sleep Hoping for a brief moment of escape For a momentary lapse of long awaited peace. hun *hugs* i can truly feel the pain and emoitions you are feeling in this. and you know why. like i told you when you first showed it to me. this is a great example of your talent. its hard to write your emoitions and pain like this and you did it beautfuly. i love it *hugs* and i am always here for you. love ya jesse Once upon a time there was a light in my life, now theres only love in the dark, There's nothing I can do, a total eclipse of the heart. |
