when you search and seek
so desperately for that one
the true  love craved
to be devoured
longing in your soul
that cannot be quenched
when you search high and low
come up miserably missing
and you've lost control
you seek some more
but like an  unfinished dream
there is no ending wished for
no matter how hard you try
nothing to help this deep cry
you look deeper for  an answer
only to have it laugh and  elude
you go a step further
pushing yourself once more
you wonder why?
why you believe at all
in something that is not real
why you hope for it's reality
all there is for you is senility

this is what you see...

lost in why you allowed it all
so many years, so many tears
how dumb can you get
dumb enough to regret?
so you end it all
let it all fall
no party here today
not at my expense
for I am too tense
I will make suitors crawl
make them prove their affection
to get this ladies attention
yet none prove true

WHERE ARE YOU????

nakdthoughts...thanks for the honest reply! I think to make my suitor crawl was not to portray that I wished to be cruel, but rather that I had defenses up for my own protection. I never want to scare them away, that's for sure! Thanks for the thought!

Isis.....Yes, I guess we do it differently once we learn the ropes! I can only hope I do it right the next time.
