Inspiration fails me at the start, Taking away my poetic art, Binding me in a spell that bursts, Haunting my mind with a poets curse, Having me seek my beloved words, With each one found diminishing the hurt. Xeonox: I know exactly what you mean. This is one of the most frustrating things in my life, too. It is especially frustrating, and agonizing, when I feel pain elsewhere in life, but the words just won't come when I want to write about it. |

I am glad I wrote this poem. I see that many of you are in the same boat as I am. fractal007, you hit the mark. Right now I am unable to write any poetry. It has been over two to three weeks.
