This piece might get pulled because of the title, but if it doesn't. I want you to know I am okay this is poetry pure and simple Don't mourn for me when I'm gone, I lived my life, I sang my song Life was indifferent, bad and wrong But still I tried to carry on Kept the faith when night was stark Cried my tears within the dark Never let on, my heart's deep mark On my childhood pains, I hark Don't care too much, for I was here To leave my mark ere I disappear I've loved and lost, but life is drear And nothing! Nothing, keeps me here It's true I loved you from the start To you I always gave my heart But life's not kind, when we did part I couldn't go on, didn't want to start I don't want to see you hurt as I bring pain, to those who comfort try Although I tried, to learn to fly Just crash and burn and lingering sigh I don't want you to cry for me Now my spirit has been set free From this world of tyranny True freedom, in death I've found the key This message has been ever long But to tell you is not wrong Please accept your grief, move on Don't mourn for me when I'm gone Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant - Thoreau |

Whoa! This was beautiful, sad, and true. I have, at times, as most of us have, had these thoughts in my mind, at one time or another. I am glad that you are ok. This was a pretty heartfelt message. Had you not included your disclaimer, lol, I'd probably have thought there really was something wrong. |

great poem, got the meaning across well. it allows people who have never experienced those feelings a true meaning of what goes through peoples minds when you experience a moment of despair. do you have a copyright on that disclaimer cause I had an equivallent piece pulled when I didnt put it in  (oh, and rightly so as well, just in case any moderators are reading LOL!) |

This was wonderufl writting and very sad, i have felt like this many times, and do right now, but i know everythign will work out and i hope you do too. i am glad that you are ok now |
