Bleak house is where I live Bleak thoughts are what I give Bleak deeds with passing days Save me from infernal ways. Can you see me? Bleak as I am Blending in like bread, no butter just jam Bleak ideas spread through the universe Bleak existence I have, for I'm cursed To roam this life in the half real and half not To pass on this bleakness, to each every spot Where happiness reigns and loving abounds Deny me my sorrow, I'll give chase like hounds. I draw together the defeated, depressed Lost souls wandering finding no rest I draw them in to my world with no hues Yet still I'm lonely, weary confused. As bleakness spreads so does my sorrow That I should cause no hope for the morrow I stand here on the abyss with regret If I take my life can you forget And survive…… Why do yesterdays remain and todays pass by ...unnoticed? Kethry...Something keeps bringing me back to this poem. There is a "grayness" here...a feeling of "lostness" in the words. I think you have done exceptionally well, even to the title, in describing feelings that overtake us all from time to time. Well done. Hardrock |

This a hauntingly dark piece Kethry. Take care! "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |

Like this very much, Especially the repetition at the front of the lines Sets the poem along it way. Down the bleak and darkness of passions, Very enjoyable. Gloom |
