Let me be your Phylis Diller
your Mime Bobeck too
Take a good long look and see
I Just want to be friends with you

Can't you see my funny hair,
my wild and crazy flowered dress.
My eyeshadows shade of blue
I think it's just the best

Let me be your Phylis Diller
I will let you comb my hair
You can be my Fang
and wear blue underwear

So let your guards go down
take my hand and laugh with me
I know your pain runs deep
but I can't hurt you,you see

Let me be your Phylis Diller
I'll make your sweet face smile
Think of all the fun we'll have
Even if it's only for awhile

While reading this, I could hear Stevie Nicks singing this piece, bluesy and with a flair of attitude. I liked it

Though I have to admit, I have no idea who Phylis Diller is.

I thought this poem was great, but I too do not know who Phylis DIller is......oh my ignorance is great this week!

I am not that old LOL Phylis Diller use to be in movies with Bob Hope . She is a Comedien with way out hair and she would smoke cigerettes in holders and talk about fang her man. Thanks for the responses though lol
