The last stroke of midnight,
The last breath of celestial light,
Shrouded in an endless black cloak.
The hands of time doth creep slow,
The ambers of a dying flame ruefully glow,
This eternity of deathless nights is growing old,
I doth pray, my tale be told.

The ghouls of this earth are wailing,
The spirits of the night are revolting,
The fairies of the heavens are mourning,
This reality of divine dark madness is ending.
The solitary starlight is fading,
My damned afterlife is just beginning,
But I doth only pray, my tale be told.

ALmost a belated Halloween poem
Seriously, this is very deep, and made me think of a lot of different things.
Last line is super powerful..

Had a medevil(not sure on spelling...lol) ring to it..very archaic, an interesting style.  I agree to the idea that this was deep...i had the feeling there was something beyond the words...made me think of some pretty cool stuff...great piece... keep up the work

..and what is your tale my friend?  This was very somber and I enjoyed it.
