The walls drip red with blood
and the roses thorn is bleeding
through the paper with which i write

the soft whispers i try to speak
come out as violent screams
i live in the shadows of darkness
it appears that i am growing colder
day by day.

the light in which i was once lived
is now long since gone
it comes back from time to time
in my tortured dreams

and even now i wish to feel its warmth
before i slowly die from wounds
inflicted upon myself.

there is a threshold, and it is there
that you will find me."

Hey Frozensoul - welcome to Passions...nice to have you here.

I notice your poem makes reference to suicide. The guideline's here prevent the posting of the act of, or glorification of suicide. However, Christopher has pointed out that this doesn't constitute glorification per se - and I tend to agree. If you feel the need to talk, please feel free to email me.

I'd just like to post this link for you, however:

It's the Passion's guidelines and could be worth reading

Thanks

Severn

This was rather dark, but nonetheless good.
Another great read.

I have climbed the walls before possessed by such thoughts.  I would like to think things are getting better, yet usually when I do, the carpet is pulled from under me.  Great work here
