So there are one set of rules for me, Made harshly and unjustly, And there are no rules for you, You can do anything, you are still free? You can be rude, Do whatever you will, Yet rule me with an iron fist, And be so painfully cruel. You can go where you want, Ignore me anytime you please, Purge your feelings, For they are important, not me. But I can't talk to anyone I want, I owe an explanation for all I do, Who is ringing, what did they say? Yet you are an exception to the rule. There are no rules, I was born human and free, You never did control me, And never will, don't you see. You cannot tame a wild animal, No matter what you've been led to believe, Cannot capture a soul, For they aren't solid they are imagery. You are a saddened soul, Bitter and twisted, purging misery, Don't come too close, stay right away, For I won't allow you to infect me. *I believe every time you put your words to paper, you change. Great job! This was sad. The situation is an unfortunate one and I do wish you the best of luck!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them! |

Iris, your so right, loved the way you wrote this, to often we are ruled because it's the easy way not to speak up and be our true selves. |
