I don't remember happiness,
Some say it has a peacefulness,
I don't remember love,
Some say it comes from above,
I don't remember the kiss,
That made me won't to not resist,
I don't remember the song,
That made me giddy all night long,
I don't remember the dream
That made me want to remember
I don't remember the words
That had me wishing for that sweet December,
I don't remember, oh but if I could.
But alas I don't remember.

Such a sad poem, but wonderful nonetheless. I really loved the ending too. A great poem!!

"I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust."

I hate your socks. I'd like to burn them!

Ahh, the irony...

good thoughts here...

and nicely put together.

The wind shifts like this:
Like a human without illusions...
This is how the wind shifts:
Like a human, heavy and heavy,
Who does not care.

Thanks Dopey and Severn, sometimes a memory can really blur your future, alas if we would just not remember, so true Severn, a very ironic moment

I sometimes think it's best not to remember.

I really like the way this was written, it's very good!

thank you so much Lakewalker, sometimes if we could forget sometimes it would really ease the mind, but often we thrive off of it like it's our best friend I do anyway.
