Wow!! So many of us have been there. You brought to light how we only see the light bulb go on after we're in too deep, and then we don't want to realize what the light tells us. Great writing!

Wow..this struck a chord. Although, I sometimes muddle a moment of clarity with too many doubts of manipulation.. I mean, are you SURE he didn't mean it??
