Rode me hard, Put me away wet. Disease has set in, And now I'm spent. No hearty oats to feed on, No wool blanket to heat. Still and still, I must find sleep. Needed in the morn, More loads on me they heap. *****kynder Across the gateway of my heart, I wrote "No Thoroughfare!!" But love came laughing by and Cried "I enter everywhere!!!" Herbert Shipman |

(Kynder...we gotta stop meeting like this...people are starting to talk) I read this several times....one read made me think of my former job and how they treated me. The other read made me think of relationships with people...and how I was just a beast of burden for all their excess baggage they brought into the relationship. And then I remembered the poem you wrote called Manipulation and I thought, "...and the beast shall rise up out of forests and fields and overcome them". Amazing the thoughts I get when reading your words here.....Hardrock. |

From early dawn to setting sun, A woman's work is never done. Those who use and abuse us in this way are no more than a burden to us and mankind. I too have felt used this way, likened to a work mule or soemthing. Great work hon I'll tell you this...... No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..... ~Isis~ (Goddess - Sovereign of the Spirit) |

OUCH, you need a union and to go on strike or if this is the way some people are treating you then strike back. a great poem, yes I can well relate to this. A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry |
