The free spirit of restlessness
wanders aimlessly in the night
searching beyond dark shadows
a wolf panting in the moonlight

The billowing heart of the wind
covets the passion in the dark
drifting wingspan of a raven
haunts the night as it embarks

Phantom rains sing in the steeple
as vampire bats soar until dawn
the free spirit of restlessness
the flame of moonlight, it is drawn

A poem is never finished, only abandoned.

A haunting romantic picture you create, and as usual, very beautiful. Ron

Feeling a little restless tonight myself, Victoria. This is, as always, very beautiful and kind of lifts you up and throws you into the middle of the night.

Great poem. A great read.
I think i'll cover everything too.
