To be inspired, To have a reason to get out of bed each day, To see the world through rose coloured glasses, Seeing everyday things in a different way. The music sounds so much clearer, You hear the trills and minor notes, As though they are a language unto themselves, My soul is lifted by a tune a master wrote. Looking into a single lit candle, The light of all the light, To feel your presence even when I'm alone, My shelter on a dark and lonely night. Seeing the majesty of the night time sky, Knowing you see it too, Together yet alone we watch nature's spectacle, And in it we see the love between we two. My soul is lighter, Joyously uplifted, This is why I was born, No more feeling the drifter... You inspire me my muse, Give me beautiful dreams to share, Poetically and musically, For you reminded me how to care. You alone have inspired me, To be the better person I've become, For you alone reminded me, I have so much to share with everyone. A man who so inspires, Me in every way, Deserves so much himself, Each and everyday. You can lead the world to peace, Part the seas with a mere wave of a hand, Your love and enthusiasm for life and love, Could bring sunshine to say many lands. And I will always be thankful, You saw so much in me, And I can live my life, The way it's meant to be. Though we may never be together, We will never be apart, Just like our names are joined in conversation, They'll be joined for all eternity - deep within our hearts...... *I believe every time you put your words to paper, you change.
