Icy winds consumed my very soul, Just from the look. I stood, Frozen in the moment, Rooted to the cold earth, I became, A twisted , lifeless tree, Stripped of the leaves of love, With gnarled barren branches held upwards., I cried, In an feeble effort to summon the heavens. Then she turned away, And said goodbye. [This message has been edited by Ron K. Fox (edited 10-26-2000).] |

Ouch, quite painful. Great work Ron. Ronil (The sweet sound of summer sends serenity through my soul searching for that evermore solitude.) |

Ron, thats just how it happened, how did you know? You described this powerfully, and with strong images. All I could do was cry.. Sandra |

Great job, goodbye is the hardest word to me... I just hate good-byes! Wonderfully written, "Icy winds consumed my very soul, Just from the look." I loved that line. Take Care! "Most girls want a man with the mean green Don't wanna dance if he can't be Everything that I dream up A man that understands real love" |
