My very souls dreams The very essence of my being The things I'd hesitantly planned for my future Torn at the seams - leaving senses reeling. Part of life and breathe, Certain things are too me, Poetry, Music, Song and spirituality, But sometimes you make them seem useless as can be. It doesn't seem to matter, I've dug my own grave, Perhaps all these gifts, Are reminders of the life I crave? Those that predicted my future are right It paints a scary picture, Me alone, fat and unloved, Surrounded by animals in my lifetime theatre. Looking to animals For friendship - as companions, For the love I've been craving, Certainly not the lifestyle of champions. My dreams, hopes and fears are nothing to you, My achievements nil, My values and beliefs a sham, Just like a parking lot - lacking fill. All that I was and all that I am Is ineffectual by your reasoning, My dreams and hopes merely cobwebs, Now I can't seem to stop my soul from screaming. They are right, bold, beautiful and true, Worth their weight in gold, But to you there are merely childish dreams, To glimpse but never hold. I pity you for not having your own, But don't take me down with you, Don't kill the best in me, These things and feelings are the integral part of me, with or without you...... |

Oh hon, I can see the sorrow within you here. I pray that the good things come to you, and that you are appreciated as you should be. I have felt like this often, think I will only have my cats in the end. But it can't be true, we won't let it! Right? And thanks for all the support, you know I need it lately.. Sandra |

Isis this reminds me of when I lived with my parents and my dad was very controlling and always seemed to get in the way of my dreams...of course the day did come when I was old enough to venture out and I did. Sad when those around us can't share and encourage us to pursue the things we love and cherish..James |

Cat we are sisters at present aren't we? Of course I'll always be around to offer understanding LM It is something that scares us all at times. James - the pursuil of dreams and beliefs is an integral part of our being, it must not be smothered but allowed to test it's wings and soar. Isis, I had to stop in and have a look at some of your work. Thought I'd better not reply to all of them or I might get my bum kicked! I can relate to this as I think ending up alone is my biggest fear as well. I'll be back to check out some more when it's not so late. Isis, Whether you realize your dreams or not, whether you get fat or not, whether with him or not. Your beauty and firey desire will always be part of you. The more I read from you, the more understanding I have of well, everything. Your dreams, I hope are realized. By the way, my best friend/companion right now is a huge cat that craves Love more than I do I think. Big, Huge, Meaningful Hug, and Thank You. |
