The beginning is always the best Full of smiles, laughter and true love Each sun rise is a bright new day As fresh as the beauty of a dove Everything you look at.... Seems to be the best it can be Everything you touch.... Feels as peaceful as you see Your joy over rides the memories Of the pain you once had Your love over rides the thoughts Of the nights that were so bad But why do they end? Making the smiles fade away The laughter is no longer there The thunder rolls throughout your day Things that you once loved Are no longer there The loneliness over comes you Making life hard to bare Is it something I did To make the pain love me Or am I just a lonely fool That others just cant see? |

Great poem kid, I like the mood trends from light to dark. it makes for a great read. Joel. I howl a mournful song, that echos within my chambered heart, for all to read? nay for all to feel. |
