i wrote this a long time ago...in 99...its about playing a part...and decieving the world around us... ~Pretty Face~ she hides her sadness behind that pretty face inside she feels like she's a disgrace to the world she keeps the pace to herself she's out of place her life she takes and what a shame she died so young with such a pretty face Nikolette Sadness i was once in love and happy...but you can call me Sadness. |

Hey Nik, good to see you again. I have been gone, and you haven't been here much lately either. Well, this is sad, but a very nice poem, and should give all of us something to think about. Nikolette, This is a lovely, yet sad poem..and I have to agree with catalina, it makes you think. There are so many beautiful people in this world..while we may admire them on the outside, how many would we trade places with on the inside? Crakker |

Nik~I'm so glad I ventured into Dark and found this one. It's really true, sometimes makeup and beauty are used as masks. Don't worry about not being able to write, everyone gets writer's block sometimes. Until last Tuesday when I wrote my latest poem, I hadn't written one in over 3 months. Just keep it up as you can.
