This is a first for me.. and I have a very special friend to thank for re-introducing me to passion.. i didn't realize how much I had missed this part of my life.. As evening shadows bless the sky It’s fingers pushing down The charring daystar of my soul A quenching, needing found. Silently, your face appears Amidst the falling night Flames ablaze inside your eyes As fireflies dance in pale moonlight. So long, my sun dried hands have sought Your gentle hydrate skin Desire aches, the coming mist To cool me from within. Longing met in outstretched arms Eternal limbs entwine Dew drops chill the burning flesh As hearts and sighs collide. Passion spent, the hours fly I hide in your embrace For, soon the sunlit embers stretch To take you from this place. But, though, the dawn is sure to come Enveloping night’s mist I close my eyes towards sun parched skies Awaiting moon tide’s bliss. -Crakker |
