A truly awe-inspiring scene
To mine own innocent eyes,
As the bright red sun sets
Into the darkened overcast skies.
The setting sun finally shines
Through a break in the clouds as i stare.
Glimmering like a bleeding crimson scar,
On the face of the darkened midnight-blue air.
The wonderous scene on me,
Finally takes its toll
As it brings these words from my head,
And leaves its image engraved in my soul.

Hello Cerenity. Im so glad that you took the time to read, and comment on my work. Im doubly-glad that you enjoyed it so. Im also glad i finally got this out. I had wanted to write a poem titled "Strange Sunset", but i never knew exactly what i wanted to say...Untill today, when i saw a picture of a sunset on tv, and i thought to myself, "THATS IT!" Obviously you know what went on from there   Well Cerenity, thanks once again for takin time out to read my poem. Later.
