A truly awe-inspiring scene To mine own innocent eyes, As the bright red sun sets Into the darkened overcast skies. The setting sun finally shines Through a break in the clouds as i stare. Glimmering like a bleeding crimson scar, On the face of the darkened midnight-blue air. The wonderous scene on me, Finally takes its toll As it brings these words from my head, And leaves its image engraved in my soul. -"There is an exception to EVERY rule." |

Hello Cerenity. Im so glad that you took the time to read, and comment on my work. Im doubly-glad that you enjoyed it so. Im also glad i finally got this out. I had wanted to write a poem titled "Strange Sunset", but i never knew exactly what i wanted to say...Untill today, when i saw a picture of a sunset on tv, and i thought to myself, "THATS IT!" Obviously you know what went on from there Well Cerenity, thanks once again for takin time out to read my poem. Later. [This message has been edited by !!! (edited 10-02-2000).] |
