This may be a silly thing But it's for you that I now sing Words from the heart are what I share To let you know I really care I will not hurt or abuse You my sweet I will not use As a plaything or a toy Because your love I won't destroy You effect me in this awesome way That's the message I'll convey With these words that I now write That fill me so with such delight It's been so long sense I have felt Because of heartache I've been dealt I thought that I would love no more But it's you my dear that I adore This isn't just some dirty lust I want to work and build your trust In me now give me a chance I'll be your knight with pointed lance In conclusion I'd like to say You're in my heart throughout the day I hope these words you won't dismiss I give you now this velvet kiss Regret not that which you have done, Rather that which you haven't |

What an awesome piece here (and one I wished I had written)! So from the heart, and so full of passion! I loved it!! I think it is safe to say, everyone would love to have a poem written for them exactly like this one. Thanks for the reply on the Rejector poem...I sometimes get frantic with my emotions, that have no where to go accept on paper. I also would tend to agree that we have some like qualities in our writings, and maybe our experiences? I hope all is well for you....(sounds like it could be!) Look forward to hearing more! |

Thank you all so much for your comments! I'm glad you liked this piece. This one was written for the same person I wrote Sweet Jeanette for i.e. Jeanette.
