  The struggle within
right and wrong
  confusion is fierce
but where is your home?

  Don't settle for nothing
only want the best
  your smile is what matters
forget all the rest.

  Forget all the words
forget all the games
  he's playing with your heart
Im not saying any names

When you look in the mirror
you need to be free
the chains of of your past
tighten too easily.

  You have tasted your freedom
and found your pretty smile
  but you want to return
to a zombie who lives in denial.

You don't have to keep me
but you don't need to keep him
He's all that holds you back
from the person within.

  I've seen that person
light a room with her smile
when she used to watch her feet
as she walked up the aisle.

  No smile no sparkle
not even a weak hello
  and this is the direction
you feel you need to go?

I will back off this subject
and I will leave you be
  Just remember one thing
will he let you be free?

  You know all the answers
the right solution is clear
but if you lean the wrong way
you know darkness is near.

I love you with all my heart
I love being your best friend
I am sad to say if this happens
It will all have to end...

  If this is truly goodbye
then that's way it will be
there is no room in your life
for someone like me.

This is a wonderful poem.  You wrote so well about the concern and fear when facing a situation just as this.  Thank you.

Great Poem
Never give up on your friends
if they are truely your friend
sometimes people are blinded
by the love they feel
or the love they feel they must have
Great poem I really enjoyed it

Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn.
