Welcomed is that blinding light That lightning flash of silver grey Entering confused life, bringing peace No comprehension yet of the impending end Disintegrating into a thousand slivers of death Tearing at flesh, probing the paths of destruction Entering the cavernous recesses of my darkness Destroying the nightmares and the pain The blackness, it comes with a smile A realisation that the end, and relief, are near Darkness comes, and then light Firstly, Isis has asked me to mention that she has read and approved this prior to posting. Secondly, appologies for not being around for a while, I've had been trying life in the sunshine for a while, but I'm back now, at least for a while. Hey, I'm just scrolling through the back pages picking poems at random to read... just my luck that the first one I came to was a good one and I had to tell you so. Nice work. I like this one, and it's great work, but i can't quite describe what it is that makes me like it. Oh well that is my inadequacy not yours. |
