The sky was black The wind very wild The trees were blowing Screaming like a child Red eyes could be seen Through the glimmer of night No shadows were present For there was no light I saw something moving My hands began to shake My body was completely frozen I yelled " For Heaven's Sake!!" I wanted so badly to run But my feet where planted on the ground I wanted so badly to just scream But I only made a whimpering sound The wind became so loud The leaves were blowing around I lowered my head with a tear in my eye As I just looked at the ground I just knew I was doomed No more life for me to live So much love within my heart Yet no time left to give What did I do to deserve this? To make him take me away To take away all my hopes and dreams To end my life on this day I felt someone tap my shoulder My heart skipped a beat I just knew this was the end As I began to weep So I turned around and.... As shocked as I could be There stood a small child Yelling.... "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"  I know an early Halloween poem...  Peace DkW No person is worth your tears, and the only one that is ...... will never make you cry |

great poem you could have erased the last two paras and its a really dark and desolate piece whic says alot. it still does, but the ending was unexpected, and fun. dark but cheery. ilph. |

Well thanx for your imput But I have written too many dark poems. Plus this one was just for fun. Making someone smile at the end is a BIG thing to me. Take care and thanx again DkW No person is worth your tears, and the only one that is ...... will never make you cry |
