Raise my eyes, my thoughts, my heart, I give them to the winds. To you I say goodbye. It was for so long that I dreamed of you, but realized now...that this is all you were. A perfect vision of a childhood love. Everything I could want.... but in dreams only. With you in reality, I have wronged you... as I have wronged myself holding onto you. So To you I say goodbye. Dont get me wrong, I love you, as I always will... but it is a love that is made up of memories, of bittersweet dreams from a different life. There is something, someone I search for now that is different from you. And though in some eyes, I may sin, or I may be turning down a path that will lead me to their hell... I know what I seek... and it is not a life with you. Though I had wished I had found contentment with you, Im Sorry, I cry now, tears of deepest regret, the shining blue of your eyes, the eyes I wish I could love in the way we had hoped... I wonder if I will always be alone, always be searching... and why I am turning to a life to be forever rejected by others... but it is who I am.. and I think I would rather be alone then with you and untrue to myself and to you.. I care too much for you to do that... So it is now that I Say Goodbye to you. Denise |

so sorry Denise, sometimes the hardest thing to do is let go of someone you know you should have already, but you seem to know now what was not there but you were clinging to in your dreams. |

i liked this very much denise. letting go is so hard when you love someone. i'm doing it right now. it takes so much strength to be true to yourself. this just struck a chord in me. it was lovely. jann elizabeth |
