There's HIS life.....there's HER life They, are worlds apart Separated by silence And their world is empty So full of haunting echoes Of what used to be, Of what could be's??? They daily dream apart, They wish for a new start They live together, yet are alone So it cuts their heart, to the bone It is so cruel outside, with no refuge there The pain soon fastens it grip, to bring a tear Revival is hard for them to grip or see, And they no longer belong to the free There is no life left In this torrid mess For him.... For her.... Death is a stabbing reality without any rest! |

I want to thank you all for responding. Not so much because you thought the poem was "good", but because you took the time to say you related and share your heart. It somehow is encouraging to know others do share in our pain (odd as that may seem)??? Don't get me wrong, I am not saying I wish pain on anyone. I am merely saying, when they do have to endure it, it is a ray of hope when they express their pain and how they came out on the other side. People are remarkable! And so are all of you here at passions! Thanks! |
