The Angry Sea The ocean is angry Its dark waters churn The blackened sky Lightening cuts across A flash of hot white light Inside she’s safe Awaiting his return Praying he’ll be back Praying he’ll be safe This sturdy house he built Overlooks the unforgiving sea She climbs into their bed They barely had a chance to turn down the sheets When he was called away Now curled beneath the blankets She clutches her crucifix She prays for his return She prays for his safety For many days she waits Listening for the news Hope in her heart Rosary in her hands She cooks her evening meal And eats alone again Sits in front of the fireplace Warmth emanates from the flames She longs for his warmth Praying he’ll be back Praying he’ll be safe The news comes back today The ship did not come to port He is dead She cries out in agony But they will meet again too soon The sun has started to set She walks out into the evening glow She tastes the salt in the air She looks back at the house he built That overlooks the sea She steps to the edge Jumps to the rocks below Praying they’ll meet again Praying for her mortal soul |

(copy...paste...) Cool poem..... no just kiddin! I really liked it!! It's like real drama! love, Virgin Suïcide... Or, do you want a sily story too...uuhm..well...I'm thinking of something to write but it's like not working up there or so....*yeha, already one sentence!!* nope...really dunno....guess I said it all already....!  c ya!! "I love the way you love, but I hate the way, I'm supposed to love you back..." Love is hard to live... Try to live life in love.... |

great story Darkstar..sad ending though  the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
