First jumbled and confused... So many thoughts, all speaking at once to him What about this? What if that? The mind muddles, as he tries to sort it out. He concentrates on a single thought... And like clockwork, slowly amd surely All other thoughs, and feelings disperse. There is but a single thought Echoing with crystal clarity.... To WIN! So strong is this thought, this urge, It resonates within him, Reaching like some plague, to every part of his being. His skin, his blood, his bones... All aching with the newfound power that comes with the urge to conquer all. The thought repeats, and resounds in his mind, Till finally all there is Is the fire of intensity, Housing a raging spirit that calls for victory! He rises, inside of him, the energy of a thousand burning suns All that is left, is the final march to destiny, To glory, or defeat, whatever awaits him. He goes to fate, with the brow set in determination, And a scowl proclaiming the vanquishing of all stupid enough To keep him from his victory. It is time. -"Victory needs no explaination, Defeat allows none." |
