In all my life I don't think I will ever find a love as sweet as yours.
I spend my days consumed by you and wondering what will happen next.
You talk to me almost everyday and describe a love so true.
And even though we are miles apart, I feel as if you are here.
You have such a way with words, I am always amazed.
Sending me kisses and smiles and hugs...
I never felt so loved.
Writing loving words to me, they tell me I am too nice,
But the problem herein lies in the fact that we are both tied to another.
So what are we to do to make the situation better?
I don't think either of us wants to hurt another...
But is this just a game we play
Or is it a real love?
For I am torn between this love and the trap I have fallen into.
I reach up for someone to pull me out, but no one is there.
I don't know which way to turn to keep myself together.
I feel like I am missing out on a love that would forever make me surrender, but alas like I have said before....
I don't want to hurt the other...
I don't seem to have an answer to this situation,
I know it won't be easy to find, so I will just keep searching.

First...my words of "wisdom" (hehe)
--I am a firm believer that if you truly believe its love, its best to just enjoy it and avoid analyzing...it drives one crazy..Mind you, I never follow my own advice.
NOW...my comment to the poem
--I just love free verse...it always comes out so naturally and you are a natural free-verser...WELL DONE, DEE!
NOTE:  I love form too but MY natural voice is free-verse.

Don't care what people say
Just follow your own way
Don't give up and use the chance
To return to innocence.

this is a very loving piece. Sometimes through the internet we reach into realms that reach back and become attached to another, I wish you all the best. The most powerful thing is LOVE..

Oh, Dee, I am so much standing beside you here. So hard. All I can say is love is the most important thing. And the answer from there, who knows? Very beautiful writing.
