My muse has gone on strike lately taking any seed of inspiration with it.

Recently a new muse has entered my life she has inspired me taking me on a journey into the great unknown, a garden of equal beauty and darkness.

PLease do not take this poem in the literal sense, what lies between the lines in as important.

To Clara, for the inspiration and for taking me into the unknown.
======================================

I can not breathe for you my love,
your only request is left unfulfilled.
Hang me from your corners
a pathetic beauty;
your struck skin pendulum.
Lay on my belly a bed
of glass to kiss your face
and weep upon your mask.
Could this be the devotion
I have always desired? My body
bleeds red ribbons of desire,
cleanse my filth in vinegar.
I am shook of your accord,
to the sweat slapped from my face,
one second you hold me tenderly,
with that motherly embrace
only to retort with the fatherly response.

Feel nothing under the strain
of ecstasy seeping in vibration,
raw hides on hard heeled
driven through, linked and bound,
I am a statue, purpled blacked and crimson,
a flesh tone tainted with your fist.
fainting under your duress, each gloved
touch heightens euphoria in stagnant flesh.
Your musk of damp second skin
assaults my mouth as fingers
choke my throat. Wild floral
perfume soaks on skin forced to the bone.

You are the dance of polished skin
in dark, an icy enforced
cardinal death, I am the tourist,
human in denial,
of all the beauty you present.
Gagged I can not utter grace for you.
What words would I scream under sweet surrender
Now that we have suppressed all pain into pleasure?

It connects hard with my stomach,
Lured over, it erupts from my ribs
rippling through my chest, pounding
at first then gently caressing,
shaking me to my knees.
I allow my swollen flesh to smile,
for isn't love an exquisite thing.

=============================

" You're obliged to pretend and respect people and institutions you think absurd. You live attached in a cowardly fashion to moral and social conventions you despise, condemn and know lack all foundation. It is that permanent contradiction between your ideas and desires and all the dead formalities and vain pretences of your civilisation that make you sad, troubled and unbalanced. In that intolerable conflict you lose all joy if life and all felling of personality, because at every moment they suppress and restrain and check the free play of your powers. That's the poisoned and mortal wound of the civilised world."

"Think how the torture must be multiplied in his flesh and soul with the splendour that surrounds him! And how his agony must be more atrocious, more desperately atrocious, dearest heart"

Octave Mirbeau - The Torture Garden

So many things are going at once that I do not know which is my favorite. This is a great, deep write. Thank you sharing.
