No longer I sleep in the quietness of the night I bear to stand witness the awaken of the imps I look towards my left and I see the image of a great evil, I glance once more and I see the shadow of mine, Shackled in guilt the shadow longing for daylight, For in the day it is sent away, As night approaches once more I am afraid to sleep, In the daylight I am lost in the heat of confusion, Scars on my chest bear witness of the battle, For the wink of my eyes my shadow ceases to be. This leaves alot to the imagination. Very well done, but one thing....What is an imp? I think i've heard the word before. Is it some kind of demon, or other evil being? |
