Ok, here’s an idea. How about we all write a poem about Dark Passions and what it means to you. I think someone else also did this, but I can’t remember. Here’s mine: There is circle of light, But we dwell far out of sight, Of that circle in the light, For we are the dwellers of the night, Alone the dark we stumble and fall, Reaching for something that always crumbles, Something moves in that darkness, hands brace your fall, Friends in the dark, just because you can’t see the look of care Doesn’t mean their not there Silently screaming to the night, Shrieking of pain and blight, But pleasure is not out of sight, For in darkness, we rejoice For we enjoy living in this fashion, Even though we live with faces of ashen, We forever embrace our dark passion. ---------------------- Spreading insanity, one post at a time “Writing about darkness comes easily for me. Deranger, I already posted a non-dark poem in the open forum#9 the title is "the poetryof friendship". You can check it out if you want but I think it's off the 24hour list.
