Midnight run Running through the dark of night, tripping through and by, tiny toes towards centers black and racing chanting cries. Starless furied midnight run, howls chasing time, hollowed tears freely fall, as bells of hell do chime. I stumble into holes of earth and swallow truth in soil, I taste the blood of nevermore, while infections remain so loyal. I run, I run at midnight hour and attempt escapes from all, through and by the screaming trees, from evil's sickened call. |

Spitfire it is always nice to have a running partner, midnight is a bit late for me but I will see if you are running afterwards I might join you, though can I suggest a lighter path my running partner. Rushing into intense territory here. Excellently written poem, as always when I read these poems I get worried for you, hope everything is ok. peace~ "Beyond all this good is the terror,The grip of a mercenary hand,When savagery turns all good reason, There's no turning back, no last stand,"I.Curtis |

SF, this one struck me in an unusual way. It almost had the sound of a childs story at first, (to me), and then became much darker. Awesome writing, as always you say things in the most original way. Sandra |
