Gold

Pink-white daisy on the lawn
Before you know it you'll be torn
From the warmth of Mother Earth
To lie wilted in the dirt

So enjoy and love life now
Sparkle till the sun goes down
And when you see another day
Smile and watch your petals play

How lovely, Uta. And don't worry I am not defeatist..I just have the occasional discouraging day
This is a good reminder to love life.

"And when you see another day
Smile and watch your petals play"

Terrific end!    Good meaning to the whole poem actually.
