'Never Again' he uttered, promising brighter days and regrests laid to rest on the shelf. Meanwhile... behind the book of recriminations, shadowed by the best seller of tempermental fits, his angry words advanced from the novel of ammunitions, ceasing the flow of her poetry. Trickling from open wounds, the rhyming weeps. She should have taken cover from the verbal fallout, retreated to the bullet-ridden wool on her bunk but she never saw it coming. chanson~ |

chansondegeste.... 'Trickling from open wounds, the rhyming weeps'......oh how this is painting a picture in my mind!! I love this poem, and the wording inside it is wonderful...... Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |
