existence haunts me with its wild-flower eyes speaking the myth of fingerprints as it lurks in my shadow i stare at my feet planted on the ground wishing i could have retained my innocence forever |

Don't we all wish this to be true? I like the way you potray the feelings that many of us have in common. Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

Innocence is a disease suffered by the young and idealistic. To survive you must become what surrounds you, darkness and corruption. ---------------------- Spreading insanity, one post at a time |

I don't agree with Deranger's comment!! You must find peace within yourself, and then share those secrets with others. AAaah I know, to be that young and innocent again, things I'd have done differently, STILL I am happy to be where I am now, and I'm always remembering to be grateful for what I DO have. Wonderful musings here!! *Our deeds travel with us from afar, and what we have been makes us what we are..* ~Isis~Goddess~~Sovereign of the Spirit~ |

the choice of words is beautiful.. but what really blew me away are the last 3 lines, simple, yet so honest.. and true. |
