A Haiku series Thought i'd try somethin' different Hope that you enjoy... To some, when it hits A most cleansing Purgatory Or a slow torture Many in it's ways Each introduction different With the same outcome Sometimes expected And other times so sudden So devastating It makes us stronger Only in healthy doses In moderation In time, you'll feel it, For it's inescapable It's a part of you -"Victory needs no explaination, Defeat allows none." I like your poem. I never thought of pain in that sense. By the way I like your saying "Victory needs no explaination and Defeat allows none." Ronil (What I say I live by and what I live by is what I create). |

inetrestign format ..i liked a lotas for the poem itself..very true...taken in moderation it is healthy for how can we not know true pleasure, if we are but oblivious to pain? i think that is the problem with Plato's "Republic" and other utopian idealized societies.
