A Child's Heart I am a little evergreen, unearthed My roots are bare. My leaves are brown and dry. I am a single grain of sand, Just one. Here I sit on a long and lonely beach. I am an eagle's tail feather, I fall. In silence, out of a clear blue sky. I am a small child, I am crying out i cry from the stillness of an empty home. I am the tense metal snap of an old Cheese-in-trap, I am dancing in the darkness I dangle a dying mouse. "i am where?", No one seems to care. There is no sight no sound < !signature--> [This message has been edited by T.Rose (edited 08-21-2000).] |

this is very sad.....i can be somewhat optimistic and say: if your roots are bare, exposed and dying..at least you have the chance of someone seeing your need and maybe offering help rather than having your roots hidden deep and rotting in hiding. and as a single grain of sand..you may feel isolated..but truly there are millions of other "single grains of sand" waiting for you to invite them close...and as for a feather falling from an eagles tale...at least you has a chance to fly.........but a child (a real child or an inner child) crying out in an empty home seems so hopeless and so painful...i hope this peson isnt you..and if it is, remember in THIS home..we will always be hear to listen. great job and very much felt. ~Dawn whatcha doing in this darkness baby when you know love will set you free? will you stay in the sea forever Drowning there for all eternity? ~Live |
