I am dead.
Even though I walk beneath the stars
And hear the murmur of life
About me;
Even though the sun shines on my body
And casts a shadow long
Before me...I live no more.
Though my eyes be open, they see not,
Nor do my ears respond
To chords of music that the winds
Carry past on their eager way,
For yesterday I died, and it matters not
If I exist through ageless years.
To watch dawns come,
And bid dawns go...
There can be for me
No more tomorrows.

Woooah! Rex, It's amazing!
(seems like we're all into dawns lately

Hope you're not really feeling dead, coz this piece is very much alive...
Wonderfully written! Take care!

Hi Rex,

This is a very powerful post here, I think something is in the air, what ever it is it has hit everybody right between the eyes.

I am dead.
Even though I walk beneath the stars
And hear the murmur of life
About me;

This is so perfect a statement, but truelly I am sorry you are in sadned state, I do hope all gets better soon, best wishes,

Love, Cerenity

Your tomorrows are in your yesterdays Rex. At least you have yesterdays. Some dont even have yesterdays to fall back on.
