FORGIVE ME IF I KILL YOU Forgive me if I kill you, But it’s my job today. I’m usually reading documents, Deep within the CIA. But we’ve run short of agents, Cutback in funds you see. So few were left we all drew straws, And your job came to me. It’s really nothing personal, I don’t even know your name. I just do what they assign me, I don’t seek James Bond fame. I’m really not a bad man, Tho I’ve no children or a wife. The company felt it better, If I not complicate my life. I live a lonely existence, Agents have few friends. It’s best to keep it simple, Never leave loose ends. So I guess I’ll have to kill you, But they don’t tell me why. Understand it’s nothing personal, It’s just your turn to die. And soon it will be my turn, It could come today. But that’s the way life is, When you work for CIA. Marv Hardin 6/21/00 |

Thank you both for your kind words.....as you can see, I tend to be prolific when I get started. I would love to e-mail lots of you...just to discuss some of the thought processes behind your writings, but I don't know how. Anyone can e-mail me at [email protected] I answer all e-mails and I try to be absolutely honest and forthright. While I don't usually tout another site, I have some stuff published on Pete Collins website at www.zoomnet.net/~petecol/main.html There you will find two volumes of my poetry. Enjoy (I hope) |

CIA? Me? Nah...I'm worse. I'm an insurance adjuster. I really do thank all of you who have responded....and I promise to try to be better about responding to your poems. There is so much talent here....sometimes I just get caught up in the reading and don't take time to respond. Great talent.....I look forward to reading more PS...Duh, and double Duh! I figured out how to e-mail Sorry Kynder for my density. |
